Your Role as a Commis Chef

As a Commis Chef at Il-Veduta Restaurant, you’ll be an essential part of our kitchen team. You’ll support senior chefs and help ensure the highest standards of food preparation and presentation. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in your designated work area.
• Following recipes and instructions to ensure consistency.
• Collaborating with the team to meet customer expectations.

Restaurant is searching for someone who:

• Has a genuine passion for cooking and a strong desire to learn.
• Possesses basic culinary skills and knowledge (experience in a similar role is a plus).
• Is a team player with a positive attitude.
• Can work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Holds a Food Safety certificate.
• Is flexible and available to work variable shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Communicates effectively in English and/or Maltese.
• Has a valid Maltese residence permit or is a Maltese/EU national.
• Owns reliable transportation.
