To support the brand’s rapid expansion, Ella Resorts is currently seeking to hire a Cook A for the Rocrita Lifestyle Beach Resort—a fully renovated, luxury resort located in the picturesque area of Mochlos, Crete. The resort is set to open its doors for the 2025 season, offering an elegant and inspiring destination for travelers seeking meaningful experiences with their loved ones.

Position Summary
The Cook A will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food preparation are consistently met while supporting the development of the kitchen team.

Scope of the Role

• Reports to the Sous Chef
• Oversees a kitchen section, ensuring efficient operation and adherence to established performance standards
• Organizes and sets up the assigned section to maximize speed and productivity
• Prepares menu items in line with Ella Resorts’ culinary specifications and standards
• Assists the Sous Chef/Chef de Cuisine in ensuring all practices comply with Ella Resorts’ policies and procedures
• Helps monitor and manage food and operating costs by minimizing waste
• Supports the motivation and performance of kitchen staff
• Works across different kitchen sections when needed to ensure smooth operations
• Maintains flexibility by being familiar with all kitchen areas

Requirements

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role within 5-star hotel environments
• Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts
• Fluent English communication skills
• Knowledge of a second language (French, German, Russian, or Italian) is a plus
