Anchor Bay was the perfect location for the construction of Popeye the movie where back in 1979, a huge filming project was underway.
To this day the Film Set has seen thousands upon thousands of Film enthusiasts, culture hungry, fun seeking lovely people who have returned home with a smile on their faces. And perhaps a little bit of the Maltese laid-back attitude which doesn't harm at all.
We promise to share some of the warmth with all who visit this unique Film Set, and proudly state that is still standing and going strong after more than 40 years from it's conception.
